Welcome to City Opticians Inc. We are committed to providing quality care with a personal touch, in a technologically advanced atmosphere. This is a three generation family owned optometric-opticianry practice located in downtown Syracuse since 1939. Dr.Sachs’ uncles and father, who were Bostonians, founded City Opticians. Dr. Sachs met his wife to be Patricia, who was office manager of City Opticians, in 1955. Together they have two daughters Lisa Nelligan and Cindy Sachs, who work in the practice and all three of the grandchildren were brought up in the office using one of the large exam rooms as a nursery.

This is a practice that has three generations of patients, family oriented, and we pride ourselves that patients get personalized, courteous attention, over the top service, cutting edge technology, state of the art diagnostic/treatment instrumentation from a knowledgeable staff in a most relaxed and eye appealing atmosphere.
